Properties undergoing restoration

At the Bedgebury Park Manor House and walled garden, Gabriella Atkinson bought the equestrian centre and residential dwellings that make up her portion of the Bedgebury park estate including Home Farm House, Home Farm Cottage, Garden Cottage, Bedgebury Barn and Blacksmiths Cottage in 2009.

Historically the dwellings were residential accommodation for farm workers and then for residents of Bedgebury Girls School.

More Info

With her visionary eye, Gabriella purchased this site with the intention of creating a community of several homes and a small holiday let business. It was apparent that the homes were in need of refurbishment and Gabriella looked at the exterior shells and designed modern impressive living spaces. It has taken a number of years to get planning and finance but things are finally set to start imminently.

The timeline for this conversion is commencing late 2022 with completion scheduled for spring 2024. The home area is a mix ranging from three to five bedrooms with the smallest home at 2000 sq ft. All the homes will have lovely exterior living spaces with patios and gardens and, of course, will benefit from the access to the several thousand acres of Bedgebury Forest and Pinetum.

Gabriella is very particular about her design concept with homogenous flooring, including hardwood on the main floors, carpet in the bedrooms and tiling in all bathrooms. Colours are always earth toned and muted.

As a woman, she understands the importance of the additional living spaces such as the utility rooms and she also is particular about master bedroom suites, bathrooms and dressing rooms.

The specification will be in keeping with past projects which are available to view in the property portfolio. To register an interest in any of these properties please get in-touch with Gabriella.

Bedgebury Barn

The barn is an impressive building and will convert into an outstanding three bedroom home.

The proportions and original beams are all being highlighted in the design concept. This home is due to start in late 2023.
